CALMEZ Limited was formed in 2007 to provide mezannine funding to small developers. In the dramatically changed circumstances of 2009/10 CALMEZ will continue to offer development funding to developers but will require a minimum of 10% participation by the developer.
CALMEZ will only be funding new residential developments (houses/bungalows preferred) of up to 10 units and with full planning permission in place. We wish to fund developments of up to £3M where the prime lender will provide 55%-60% of the funding and CALMEZ will provide 30%-35%. The recent track record of the developer (minimum of two completed developments) and their line of credit with a prime lender will be of paramount importance.
